European Commission to Speak at the Plastics Recyclers Annual Meeting 2017

Sarah Nelen, Head of Unit of Waste Management & Secondary Materials at DG Environment, is a new confirmed speaker of the conference: Plastics Recycling an important element of circular economy.

Sarah Nelen, Head of Unit of Waste Management & Secondary Materials at DG Environment, is a new confirmed speaker of the conference: Plastics Recycling an important element of circular economy. The role of marketing and product design. Mrs Nelen will share insights on the Plastics Strategy roadmap. 

Brand owners like: Coca-Cola, Danone, H&P, Procter & Gamble and Weleda will speak about their products made with recycled plastics and about their marketing strategies on how to use more recycled material in the future. The conference will focus on importance of plastics recycling in a move towards circular economy and the necessity of developing new end-markets for plastics recyclates.

Among the already confirmed participants there are recyclers, machine manufacturers, raw material producers, public authorities and other organisations.

The event takes place on 15 & 16 June in Bracelona.
