With the goal of speeding up global adoption of sustainable packaging innovation, Packaging Europe is delighted to collaborate with counterparts in China. On one hand, this will involve bringing insights from Packaging Europe, the Sustainability Awards and the Sustainable Packaging Summit to the China Packaging Innovation and Sustainable Development Forum. Meanwhile, we will work to increase global engagement with Chinese businesses driving packaging sustainability.
Within this partnership, we’d like to highlight the leading packaging sustainability competition in China - the Green Packaging Action awards - both as an opportunity for worldwide innovators to introduce themselves to the Chinese market and as a valuable barometer of sustainability trends and developments within the world’s most populous nation. Meanwhile, the Green Packaging Action awards are now welcoming submissions from around the world in the 2025 edition. If you have advanced sustainability in packaging materials, formats and technologies, you can register on the Green Packaging Action awards website (use Google translate if you don’t read Chinese).
