# One Rock Capital Partners affiliate completes acquisition of Constantia Flexibles

**An affiliate of** [**One Rock Capital Partners**](https://www.onerockcapital.com/?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) **has completed its acquisition of** [**Constantia Flexibles**](https://www.cflex.com/?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) **from** [**Wendel**](https://www.wendelgroup.com/en/?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io)**,** [**Maxburg Capital Partners**](https://maxburg.com/en/?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io)**, and other shareholders.**

Last year, Wendel signed an agreement to [sell Constantia Flexibles](https://packagingeurope.com/news/wendel-to-sell-constantia-flexibles-to-one-rock-capital-partners-affiliate/10114.article?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) – a partner to over 4,000 pharmaceutical, food, and consumer goods customers with 28 sites in 15 countries – to an affiliate of One Rock Capital Partners. It was expected to sell at a price that would yield net proceeds of approximately €1,097 million.

The acquisition has since been completed. [J.P. Morgan](https://www.jpmorgan.com/global?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) served as lead financial advisor and [Latham & Watkins LLP](https://www.lw.com/?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) served as legal advisor to One Rock on the transaction; [Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP](https://www.willkie.com/?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) served as legal advisor and Evercore served as financial advisor to Constantia.

The acquisition comes after Constantia signed a [joint venture agreement](https://packagingeurope.com/news/constantia-flexibles-targets-growth-in-india-through-new-joint-venture-agreement/9304.article?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) with Premji Invest and [S.B. Packagings](http://sbpackagings.com/?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) this time last year; its goal was to expand its business and operations in various packaging sectors and create value in the Indian market.

In more recent news, glassmaker [Bormioli Luigi](https://www.bormioliluigi.com/en/homepage.html?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) has [absorbed](https://packagingeurope.com/news/glassmaker-bormioli-luigi-incorporates-bormioli-rocco-in-merger/10262.article?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) [Bormioli Rocco](https://www.bormiolirocco.com/en/?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) in hopes of accelerating its growth and development in the glass sector; and [Ball Corporation](https://www.ball.com/?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) is [selling its aerospace business](https://packagingeurope.com/news/ball-prioritises-low-carbon-aluminium-packaging-production-through-sale-of-aerospace-business/10203.article?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) to BAE Systems to streamline its focus on developing low-carbon aluminium packaging and facilitating organic growth across its operations.
