[**M&H Plastics**](https://mhplastics.com/introducing-our-new-prestige-effect-the-spiral/?archive=1&ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io) **has introduced ‘The Spiral’, an extrusion blow-mould (EBM) technique to enable a brand to add a series of ridges inside a bottle, creating a straight line or spiral effect inside the mould.**

Using the technique, M&H says ridges within the bottle can be created perfectly vertically or curved in order to create a spiral effect.

According to the company, the effect allows the bottle to be perfectly smooth on the outside so as not to affect the experience for end customers; inside, however, there are small ridges of material which can help to mix contents within the packaging solution by acting as a ‘figurative cement mixer’ while adding an ‘up-market visual aesthetic’.

M&H Plastics’ flexible manufacturing policy enables low minimum order quantities from 10,000 and it says samples are now available in 125ml and 250ml tubulars.
