# DS Smith Plastics Introduces New Feature to AkyPak® Returnable Containers

[**DS Smith Plastics**](http://www.dssmith.com/plastics/?ref=packaging-europe.ghost.io)**, Extruded Products announced today the launch of a new feature to their AkyPak Advanced sub-brand of Returnable Containers. The feature called “Advanced C” is a single flat-deck bulk container. Different from standard formats, AkyPak Advanced C flat-deck surface requires no additional layer pads in the bottom of the container to prevent residues and impurities from being collected and is easier to clean.**

The AkyPak Product Line of Returnable Containers consists of three sub-brands: AkyPak Classic, AkyPak Advanced and AkyPak 4You. The new feature is one more option in DS Smith Plastics’ AkyPak Advanced. Different from the competition the Advance C option is a one-piece thermoformed pallet with a flat-deck.

Like other AkyPak formats the AkyPak Advanced C High Density Polyethylene and Polypropylene reusable containers are known for their lightweight and durability. All AkyPak returnable containers are 100% recyclable at the end of their useful life.

AkyPak Advance C’s pallet and container base is a single thermoformed polypropylene plastic pallet with a flat deck that serves as the container base. Our customers in sectors where hygiene is absolutely essential now have a high-performance and economical solution that perfectly meets their needs,” according to Olivier Saada, Product Manager Containers.
